Un peu à propos de nous...

TIMOTHY grew up in a loving Christian home where missions were and still are a huge part of everyday life. His parents were missionaries in Senegal and Guinea, West Africa. They came home to Canada and pastored a Church in Wasaga Beach, ON. Even at a young age, Tim felt the strong desire to be used by God to share the gospel. Tim went on to study at Emmanuel Bible College, and it was there that he met his wife, Lyndsay. They married in 2012. In 2017, He and his wife welcomed their son Zach and then their daughter Joella in 2020. Tim has been serving in the Church in informal capacities for years, with a keen desire to share the gospel with those around him.

LYNDSAY grew up in a Christian home in Owen Sound, Ontario, spending most of her childhood at a Pentecostal church. Christ brought her to Emmanuel Bible College, where she met her future husband, Tim. After marrying, she continued her education in Social Work. Lyndsay has served in women’s ministry leadership roles. More recently, she has developed a passion for outreach ministry, specifically in discipling new Christian women, and making lasting and meaningful connections with others through hosting people in her home.

Tim et Lyndsay ont visité l'Italie lors d'un road trip de trois semaines, de Rome à la côte amalfitaine, en passant par Milan et Venise. Avec le recul, nous savons que Dieu s'est servi de ce voyage pour approfondir notre amour de la culture et des habitants, et pour nous familiariser avec différentes régions du pays.

Pendant trois mois, nous avons vécu à Camisano-Vicentino avec nos deux jeunes enfants. Durant ce séjour, nous avons tissé des liens avec l'église italienne locale et noué des amitiés avec les commerçants et les prêtres de notre quartier.

Au cours de ce voyage, ils ont fait la connaissance d'un autre couple texan qui organise des conversations en anglais chez eux pour s'ouvrir à la communauté. Nous avons rencontré le pasteur de leur église et partagé un moment de convivialité avec de nombreux frères et sœurs en Christ, tous accueillants et désireux d'accueillir davantage de bénévoles pour soutenir leurs ministères.
